AdSense
AdSense is a contextual advertising service from Google Corporation. With its help, advertisements are automatically published on the pages of websites of similar subjects.
Using Google AdSense, site owners can place ad units with text or image ads on various types of sites: online stores, information sites, "articles", blogs, etc. They get paid when visitors click on links in ads, or for displaying banners.
Adsense is the most popular monetization service for small websites. To participate in this network, webmasters need to register a site and wait until it passes moderation. Owners can place ads of different sizes and formats on the pages of their sites, including adaptive ones.
Google AdSense ads and banners are displayed to site visitors not only based on the similar subject matter of the site and ad, but also for other reasons. For example, based on previous user queries in the Google search engine or thanks to the remarketing system.
Google AdSense imposes certain requirements on the theme of the sites of its affiliate network. It rejects websites that advertise gambling, unlicensed goods, medical or pharmaceutical products, etc. The system also monitors "invalid clicks" and other ways of "invalid activity", blocking accounts for this.
