Wise (formerly TransferWise) is an international P2P money transfer service founded in the UK in 2011. Wise allows you to store, send and receive money in 54 currencies, as well as send transfers to 80 countries around the world, using one multi-currency account. Wise provides users with local bank account details in a number of countries around the world (US Dollar, Pound Sterling, Euro, Australian Dollar, etc.), making it easier and faster to receive transfers from counterparties in those countries. Also, customers of the service have access to direct debit payments in the USA, Canada, Great Britain and European countries for multicurrency management of utility bills and mortgage payments. Registration in the service is available through the website, application or Google / Apple / Facebook accounts, then the client needs to verify his identity and replenish the balance of the internal account using bank transfer, credit / debit bank card or Apple Pay. Wise representatives claim that their clients' funds are held in the world's leading banks, and the company's activities comply with the requirements of regulatory authorities around the world, including FinCen (USA) and FCA (UK). Other features of the service include its own debit card, two-factor authentication for logging into an account and conducting transactions, as well as several types of transfers with different commission percentages.
