Microsoft Has Updated Copilot for Business

Microsoft has announced the launch of Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat, an updated version of its free AI tool for business, formerly known as Bing Chat Enterprise, designed to automate tasks and increase productivity with a choice of payment models.

Copilot Chat provides access to virtual agents that can perform routine tasks, process email, and help manage workflows. Users can configure agents in Copilot Studio, using data from the web or internal corporate sources via Microsoft Graph.

To provide flexibility, Microsoft offers a transparent “pay-as-you-go” pricing model, where it is calculated based on the number of messages. For example, basic responses cost one message, while complex operations with access to the Microsoft Graph cost 30 messages. The cost per message is $0.01, making it easy to control costs across Azure.

Copilot Chat provides functionality for uploading files, such as Word documents or Excel spreadsheets, for analysis or summarization. Those who subscribe to the full version of Microsoft 365 Copilot for $30 per month can use these features directly within the Office applications.

Microsoft notes that Copilot Chat is already popular among companies that are relying on its products. With new features and a convenient payment model, the company aims to encourage even more businesses to integrate artificial intelligence into their workflows.
