Microsoft Bought A Startup To Improve The Efficiency Of Process Automation

A technology developer in the field of Process Mining, the Slovak company Minit became part of Microsoft in an undisclosed deal.

Microsoft is actively moving into the process mining market for business users. One of the steps was the acquisition of the startup Minit, which specializes in process mining technologies and develops tools for deep analysis of system data for corporate clients.

In particular, it is reported that with the help of new functionality that will be implemented in products provided by Microsoft, users will be able to get a more complete picture of their business processes and identify in a timely manner which ones need to be automated to increase the productivity of the entire workflow of the company.

Among the tools provided by Minit to its customers are the functions of process monitoring, their comprehensive analysis and optimization. The service allows to get a deeper understanding of system data about ongoing processes, identify operational problems at each stage, eliminate them and standardize work processes within the company.

Terms of the deal are not disclosed, but Microsoft has already announced that users of its products will be able to significantly expand their ability to manage processes. We know from Microsoft that the Minit team will move to the Microsoft Process Insights unit.
