How to Connect Simla as Data Source
The integration will allow you to get orders from Simla, and transfer them to other systems. For example, you can duplicate new orders in another CRM, or GoogleSheets, and send them as notifications to a group of managers so as not to miss a single order. So you can automate the order processing process as efficiently as possible.
Let's go through the entire Simla setup steps together!
Navigation:
1. What data can I get from Simla?
2. How to connect Simla account to ApiX-Drive?
3. An example of test data
To start setup click "Create Connection".
Select a system as the Data Source. In this case, Simla must be specified.
Next, you need to specify an action, for example, "Get ORDERS (by creation date)".
- Get ORDERS (by creation date) - ApiX-Drive will get new orders from Simla that are created once set up the connection and start auto-update.
- Get ORDERS (by stage change) - ApiX-Drive will get orders from Simla, in which there were changes in the stage of the order once set up the connection and start auto-update.
The next step is to select the Simla account from which will get the data.
If there are no accounts connected to the system, click "Connect account".
Fill in the fields with the appropriate data, where:
API domain is the domain name of your Simla, without any additional "/" characters at the end.
API key - located in your Simla account.
After filling in, click save and reload the page, if necessary.
Note! For each store in Simla, you will need to set up a separate integration with Simla, as each store must have its own API key.
Go to your Simla account in Settings, then to the "Integration" tab, and select "API access keys". Then click "Add".
In the "Access Type" field, select the desired store for which the API key will be generated.
Also, give all permissions to the action in the API, then save the settings.
Now you can copy the API key and paste it into the corresponding field in the ApiX-Drive system.
Select your Simla account from the list if it is not automatically selected and click "Continue".
If there are no settings for the selected action, click "Continue".
If necessary, you can set up a Data Filter, or click "Continue" to skip this step.
To find out how to set up the Data Filter, follow the link: https://apix-drive.com/en/help/data-filter
Now you can see the test data for one of the orders.
If you want to get test data - click "Load test data from Simla".
If you want to change the setup - click "Edit" and you will go back one step.
If everything suits you, click "Next".
This completes the entire Data Source setup! See how easy it is!?
Now you can set up the Data Destination system.
To do this, set up it yourself or go to the help section "Data Destination", select the service you need as Data Destination, and follow the setup recommendations.
Good luck!
